I was never able to pinpoint what exact model it is and have always wondered. I found a few close ,, but not exactly the same. Sorry the pictures so bad , it’s the best one I could find. Thanks for looking.

Could just be a knife referred to as a "Buck knife"....where "Buck knife" just meant "folding knife"?

I have heard buck knife used as a catchall term like kleenex or ziploc. Even though technically they are brand names.

I remember when I was younger texans used to call every soft drink “a coke” regardless of what brand it was or whether it was a cola or not.

This looks just like a $5 wood handled assisted opener I had as a teenager.
It was not branded, it came on one of those plain silver boxes that said " super knife " .
I only had it a week though before I lost it riding my friends go-kart.
It's definitely not made by Buck, idiots use it as a term for any folding knife a lot of the time.

Another possibility is it's a counterfeit/fantasy Buck. Ebay and other places was awash in flea market specials with Buck markings 5 - 10 years ago.
