I do believe that's a 120 General,and an early one too.Nice knives,I had one back in the 80s.

What mykel m said. From another site: "The Buck Knife 120 General is 11 3/4 inches long overall, with a 7 1/2 inch clip point blade made of Buck's premium 420 HC stainless.

The handle of this Buck knife is phenolic, with an aluminum butt and finger guard.

This knife weighs 8.5 ounces, and it comes with a black leather sheath."

The Steel of this old 120 General is 440C. It could be a rare
barrel nut model. Barrel nut means there is a visible rivet
to see from behind of the knife. All the other (later) models
have the rivet on the two sides of the pommel.
But mbjannusch will have a lot more informations for you.

Haebbie
