Help Identifying this knife

Just became in possession of this knife from my Grandfather who is a war veteran and wanted to know more about it if possible. Has no visible markings or identifiers. Any help would be appreciated!

Please don't take my word for it because I am far from an expert but if you didn't have more knowledgeable members to consult I'd guess that was a theater knife.

I suspect from the blade, guard and handle that this is soldier (your grandfather) made. It is not any commercial made company that I am familiar with. A definite family treasure.
