help identifying this knife

I just recently recieved a Cold Steel voyager....only thing about it, is instead of a metal clip, it has a plastic one that runs from the handle. What im wondering is, since CS has the voyager (full, tanto, large) on their site with the metal clip and AUS 8A steel....is my model an older model with 420 steel?

Since when did CS start using AUS 8A steel in their folders? I was under the impression that they used 420 for all but a few of their knives, those not including the ones using Carbon V. Thanks. -Hunter
