Help identifying/valuating Scrimshaw?

Edited to add: I'm retarded and should've searched first - so hopefully i can find something in the FAQ thread..

My father got this at an estate sale for next to nothing, and he wants to know if it is worth anything? I think it'd make a good skinner if not, but I figured this would be the place to ask.

Schrade Scrimshaw 155 SC

04219 on the blade, bear scene in (fake) ivory, schrade USA and 155sc on blade. Leather sheath is blank... still has leather string in box... definitely LOOKS old... any input as to value or general info on knife?

It is one of the early scrimshaw knives from 1978.

Valuation is relative to how much someone might pay. I'd say about $50-$75 might be a safe range, though you will see instances of someone paying more or less. Depends on how it was sold and who is selling it.
