I think you can see most of the tools, but they are: tweezers, toothpick on ends. On one side, leather punch/reamer and cork screw. On main side, large blade, small blade, flat screwdriver, bottle/can opener, wood saw, fish scale (with v-notch at end) saw and scissors. It has a short chain to a keychain ring.

It seems to be similar (edit) to the Fly Fisherman except the small blade replaces the flat screwdriver and it has a wood saw (edit). (Although somehow I managed to forget to open the small blade when I took these newer pictures, or it's hidden behind the saws. But there IS a small blade there too.)

Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks a lot.

powernoodle: thanks for the response. but the Swordfish doesn't appears to have the wood saw, does it? (Or it's a sharp/jagged saw, which I assume is for wood.)

Otherwise, it is essentially that same knife.

Well, the link does not have a pic of the Swordfish, but the description says the Swordfish is like the Fly Fisherman, except that the Swordfish has a "small blade instead of flat Phillips screwdriver". This jives with the description that you gave, where you said "It seems to essentially be the Fly Fisherman except the small blade replaces the flat screwdriver."

So, I think the Fly Fisherman and Swordfish are identical, except that the Swordfish has a small blade instead of the flat phillips. So I'm sticking with my conclusion that yours is a Swordfish.

JMO.

Yeah, but in seeing that picture on there of the fly fisherman, it's clear that my initial thought was incorrect. The fly fisherman doesn't have a wood saw and a fish scaler. It just has the fish scaler.

So unless the Swordfish does have two saws (which that website doesn't indicate) I guess the search continues. I'd emailed Wenger a week back, but to no surprise I haven't heard anything.

Over the years, Wenger has gone through MANY variations of the "Fisherman" or at times "Fisherman's" model, some with wood saws and some with metal saws, some with pliers instead of scissors and they were not good about giving each version it's own name.

If I had to pick one, I'd say it's one of those.

Thanks bear. that sounds pretty likely. Do you think that it's worth anything? I was working out a trade for a Benchmade Griptillian but didn't want to trade the thing if it was worth a lot more than that.

Even on the high end of a rare version, Wenger SAK's won't be that high. From the picture I'd say $20.00 maximun on that one.
