I hope i'm allowed to ask, and this is the right place for the question.
I picked up a William Henry carbon spear point at a gun show last week for a fairly reasonable price, the guy didn't know the model so im scratching my head trying to find the exact one.
I cant find one anywhere thats exactly like it, whats throwing me off it the logo and the pivot screw is different from many im finding , any help would be greatly appreciated. IMG_1123.jpgIMG_1124.jpg

Thanks in advance for the help everybody!

I have a few WHs and this looks nothing like current models. I'm guessing it is an older model, although I could be wrong. Most WHs are sold, even second hand, with the "birth certificate" indicating model, materials, and date of manufacture. Good luck, it is a nice looking knife.

Thank you both, I have been looking during my break at work for one similar and still have no luck, but i tell you it is a great knife, super light but still buttery smooth and sharp!

Are you sure I'm wrong? Because I'm pretty sure it's a T-12 Carbon Fiber or the gold-coated screw version (I can't tell from the photo), the T-12BT Carbon Fiber . . .

A google image search seems to suggest I may even be correct.

Now your photos are displaying for me (couldn't get them to go larger, earlier). Definitely not the coated version, so I'd say it's a T-12 Carbon Fiber.

I'm with evilgreg in that it looks a lot like the T-12BT. But you're right. The pivot screw doesn't match what I've seen either [Edit: nor does it seem to match the pivot screws in evilgreg's linkage]. IIRC, the pivot screw on that model has more of a star or gear shape to it (for lack of better words to describe it) [Edit: see evilgreg's links - they show the shape that I am trying to describe]. Maybe the pivot screw was replaced? Fine looking knife, either way.

What I would do is send those pics to William Henry (they have a customer service link on their web site). They can probably tell you exactly what model it is and when it was made. I asked them several questions when I was trying to decide which WH to buy and found them to be very helpful.

You're right--I didn't even notice that it was missing the usual funky WH pivot screw (IMO, gear shape is a great explanation).

Yea evilgreg i think you are spot on, i looked some more when i made it home, your thought on the model seem solid. Im going to take some pics and do what saintlybrees suggested and contact WH to see if i can find anything else out.

Thank you all so much, great to have such expertise available to access!

Too bad WH changed websites. The old williamhenrystudio.com website had this excellent section where you could search archives to see all the old knives. I cannot find it on the new site. As Locutus mentioned its an older version. No button lock and the new models, B09, B10, B12, B30, etc are one handed button locks. Let us know what WH says on the model. Regardless of model that is a nice knife. Good luck.
