Help ID'ing a fixed blade

Good evening, everyone. I was gifted this fixed blade by my grandfather a few years ago. a quick Google search told me the guy's name and some basics. Is he considered a decent knife maker. anybody with some background on him? Just curious and trying to learn a little bit about a hobby My grandfather was very passionate about. I've always been into folders and he was a fixed blade man so we had some fun banter back in the day. I tried to sell this knife several years ago on the forum for him and I'm glad it fell through. It's a nice heirloom to remember him now.

Eddie white shadow knives. Lots of info on him out there. He worked in Cases custom shop for a while.
