Hey Guys:

Did a sight unseen trade with that 1whobuys guy last Saturday, he called my shop and said he needed a flourless chocolate cake and it was an emergency, I had one left but it was ordered for a baby shower so I said Sorry, no can do. Well he said that if he could have that cake, he would give me a Busse knife for it. I was a little skeptical but sure enough when I went to the shop the next day there was this little knife that looks like a Busse and the cake was gone. The thing is, I've never seen one of these, and if it is a Busse, why no talon holes, I mean this would make the perfect spear. Furthermore the blade has lines on it. Anyway I could always drill some. Not too bad a trade for a chocolate cake!:D Has anyone seen one of these?

You have yourself what appears to be an apprentice Mean Streets. I am not sure of the values on the Apprentice blades, but I figure that it was a good trade unless your cake is worth more than a couple hundred bucks.

Hey Chuck, give me a call if you need a steak dinner in a hurry and want to part with any INFI! :D

HOLY CRAP!!!!!!!!!! That's no apprentice, that's a PROTOTYPE!! What kind of cake do you make!?

Rob

A "Prototype !!!"
Holy Crap !!!!
That was a good trade.....:D ;)

Next time I'll bring the Mean Street Variant;)

A Proto? Well, that is a possibility too. In that case, I think you owe Chuck a few chocolate cakes. :D

Pro, I have both so I know this one. But what puzzles me is how do you bake a flourless cake? THAT stumped me!

Rob

Wetdog1911,
A flourless cake is extremely dense and rich. I'm not sure how to make one, but I know how to eat one!:) :D

The cake was great.

The Brownies are the BEST!

Wetdog...I guess I just set the new price on LMS Proto's...$22.00

Hahahaha.....Jack enjoy it and when you get tired of it, Break it in two.

(and Yes, I did trade it for a cake.)

Hey Chuck, I really appreciate that knife. And Danielle really likes her new book, she is going to make me a dessert out of it. Paella night soon, smaller group , better food. I'll keep you posted.

;)

Well if the proto has dropped that much that must mean that the regular production like is worth like....a cupcake.
If anyone is interested in a trade just let me know. (I used to be a pastry chef)
:D

Guess I opened up a whole new market for Busse's.

SHBM for a 6 pack of cupcakes anyone?:D ;) (must deliver)

We had a good time at the BD party, Thanks for having us.
See ya next time.:)

Jack, please do break it (if you can) when you get tired of it. Otherwise I'm about 8,000,000 calories in the hole.

Chuck... How about some bugs and strawberries in Key Largo? (Florida Lobster and Grouper) That ought to be worth a variant of some sort.:D :D

Sorry John, there aren't 10 in existance. I only know of 2. Mine and the really cheap one. Chuch has more of the facts. If there are more they are really deep in someones safe as I've never heard a peep. Probably in Idaho.:D :D

Rob

Heck I don't even care if it's a proto or a variant. I'd just like a MS. The only thing I don't have that I want. I suppose one of the new Active Duty's will have to suffice. Too bad you can't get them in 3/16 or 1/4.

HEE HEE The LMS's are neat, but have you ever seen one in 5/16"? A regular little crowbar with an edge. They came in 2 flavors. A2 and infi. If you ever get to hold one you'll see why DN and I love our fat blades.

I seem to recall a 5/16ths model that ran off to FL many many moons ago. :D
