I don't know if this is the right place or not, if it's not I apologize.

I recently bought this sword

I know it's not old I just want to know the style name.

You and everyone else. :) The chopper that you have there is often called just that the "Maciejowski chopper" from an illustrated Bible that has come to be known by that name.

See anything familiar here?

I believe that the example you have there was made by Windlass Steel Crafts for MRL.

You are welcome. There have been a couple of other interesting weapons made based upon illustrations from that Bible. Del Tin makes a slightly nicer example of the beastie you have as well.
