Looks like an old PCC/Benchmade balisong (pinned, stainless steel handles), but I have never seen such version.

It came from a gun and knife collector. Most of the knives I got were from the 90's. Judging from the other knives I got and the quality of it, I doubt it's a fake.

Gave the "ears" been removed? Also the script looks a little like after market...not typical BM printing.

I don't know. That's part of what's made it hard to ID. No ears, strange script.
