Hey!
I´m new to this forum and I´ve recently purchased a Spyderco Endura FFG (C10FPOR). Bought it from Ebay because it´s difficult to find here in Sweden. The quality and such feels great, but because this is my first Spyderco Endura, I don´t know what to expect. The only thing that makes me believe that it´s a fake is the stamping on the blade where it says "SPYDERCO VG-10" and "SEKI-CITY JAPAN". To me, the stamped letters appears much thinner than on the other Enduras I´ve seen on the web. And also the text seems to be a little too far to the side, rather than being somewhat in the middle. See pictures. I don´t know if it´s a fake or if Spyderco have used a different stamping on newer batches of Enduras.
Please help me.
Btw, excuse my bad English :)
Thanks!

Welcome to the forum! Your Endura appears to be legitimate from what I can tell. You are right in that the stamping looks off centre, however everything else looks as it should.

Often the single most deciding factor of authenticity is where you got it. You said ebay but that is too broad. Lots of good and bad sellers on the bay. Where did it ship from? What is the seller's ID? What is their feedback? Do not post an ebay link here as it is against the rules. I think this would also be a better fit in the Spyderco Sub forum.

Thanks for the replies :)
Sorry if I posted in the wrong section.
I got it from Justin at White Mountain Knives on ebay. From what I´ve read, there are other people that have bought from him and they´ve been really pleased. I´m not trying to give the seller a bad rep or anything. I am just curious why the stamping on my blade is different than everybody elses.

They look like a legit seller to me. They have their own website and sell on Amazon. They have over 60,000 reviews and 99.9% of them are positive. They also ship from the USA. My well used blue endura has the stamps in the same place. I would say you are good to go.

Its not easy to see in this pic, but the lettering on my orange Endura looks exactly like that. I added the polished clip, btw, so don't spazz that yours is black. :)

Just based on the seller your good to go, Whitemountain knives is my favorite ebay seller I have many knives from Justin his reputation is great if there is one place you don't need to worry about whitemountain would be it.

Thanks guys, really helpful, I take it it is an original, just needed to see for myself. Thanks again, you have been kind to a newbie like me. :)

Thanks for the crisp clear closeup pics, MJB. Appears authentic, and the ebay seller is legitimate-- no worries.

Welcome to Bladeforums. Sure would enjoy seeing some outdoor photos from your locale, +/- knife pics ;-/
