Help/input needed

Hello all. I've been out of the game for quite some time. Unfortunately, I am in need of parting with one of my beloved Busse knives but I am unsure of the asking price, as its been modified. I understand there are forum rules about these things, so if any of you consider yourselves knowledgeable enough to help, I would really appreciate it. Please email me for this discussion.

Well, I can email pictures, but a search here will find old pictures. The knife has set untouch in my safe since it was completed. Its my TGLB that was stripped, blued, then had custom curly koa scales attached.

If I had to guess on what that might fetch here on the exchange I'd say maybe a bit under 650ish.

Now Thats a TGLB!!!!!!!!!!!!

Many thanks to Mr Martin, aka Kalel here on the forum. He recently put some BEAUTIFUL koa on my TGLB. Its stunning and these pics do them no justice!!!!!!!!! Enjoy.

That thread says it might have been cold blued? Looks about right, darkened a bit.

I caught that it might have been mine the thread I found the pics in but that part definitely slipped my mind, though I remembered the end result was stunning.

It started as a desert sage coating w/ tan canvas micarta, right? Did it have a nice J&G Leather Sheath, also? That's the only one I remember having around that time.

No sir, no sheath. I believe it was gray coating with reddish micarta. I still have the scales somewhere.

It was definitely cold blued. I did the stripping and the cold bluing myself.
