Help! Is the mini grip too thick?

I wonder if someone could give me a little help. I think I'd like to have a Benchmade mini grip... It seems like the perfect knife...at least from what I've read.

BUT...I carry my knife in my left front pocket. Just never could get the hang of a pocket clip. Is the handle of the mini grip too thick or bulky for comfortable pocket carry? Could someone measure the thickness of their grip's handle for me?

I'd go to the store are see for myself, but nobody around here carries them.

I'll measure, if someone does not beat me to it. Edit: my micrometer says its right around 0.5" thick, with the clip removed.

I carry a Victorinox Explorer SAK, which is thicker than the mini grip, and it is no prob whatsoever.

Thanks for the replies. I had the idea it might be thicker...perhaps too bulk for every day pocket carry. But I think it will be OK.

The mini-grip is perfect....it's the full grip that's a bit too thick I fear... I love the mini-grips, still looking at getting a full grip.
 
When I first got my mini-grip I carried it my left pocket (i'm leftie! assuming you are to?) and it wasn't any trouble. It's thinner and shorter than my mechanical pencil that I carry in my pocket anyway. Almost unnoticeable the difference between pencil+eraser+knife vs just pencil+eraser.

I've since put the pocket clip back on and carry it clipped to my left pocket now. I find it's a lot quicker, particularly when sitting down, to get at the knife. Minigrip is small enough to not be in the way at all of getting at other stuff in my pocket.
 
since my work requires me too travel into nyc i carry my mni with the pocket clip take off,,,knife feels perfect in my front pocket,,,
 
I think most people will be just fine with the thickness of the Mini-Grip for in-pocket carry, especially with the clip removed. I carried one of mine for quite awhile like this and it was very unobtrusive.
 
Well...you all convinced me. I ordered a yellow mini grip with 'hole opener' this afternoon. I should know how it fits in a day or two. Thanks for all the good replies!

The mini Grip will disappear in your pocket--definitely a thumbs up. I EDC a full size Grip and wear jeans everyday and never even know it is there.
