I just received my new endura from SRknives. The blade's lettering is not the same. the stamping is definitely not as deep and it is much more thin then my older model. Ah, the grind lines on the blade are a little more coarse as well. Perhaps this is just how the newer models look?

it is the one on the left that I find suspicious....

what do you guys think?

yep, thanks guys, you guys are quite right on!(no, not you mister Andersson )

I got that confirmed too by Spyderco's customer service. After getting the fake on amazon, I was left a tad edgy when it came to noticing the differences. But that Endura is just fine! Everything is absolutely right about it new lettering aside.

Now, I'm ready to take it down and use it's parts to rebuilt a refurfurbished G10 Endura!!! *SWEET!!!*

I posted on the fake sticky thread, the lettering change on delica posted by other owners several pages back from last. Les Garten has very good video to identify Enduras. Hope he keeps them updated, as the counterfeiters are getting better.

yep, he was the best reference I had found on youtube for that. He did a good job identifying the discrepancies.

That lettering changed more then once I'd say, as they all differ, from my first 4-5-years old endura, to both my SB endure/delica and the newer one I got yesterday.

man, these endura are neat long blades. They dominate the kitchen, keeping their edges for months where dedicated kitchen knives of the same steel need weekly touch ups.
