Okay, so I don't know how many of you can help me with this, but I assume somebody can!

I'm looking for a few different things, I don't know anything about sword making at all, but I'm looking to purchase a quality replica.

This is kinda nerdy, but its based off of the sword from the anime BLEACH.

It is:

-Black
-Katana style
-68" long
-Full tang

I'm looking for some help finding out the price of getting something like that custom made out of a good sturdy metal etc.

If you need any more information I'm might be able to provide just post it and I'll be checking back tomorrow. Thanks!!!!!!!

My guess is that a custom-made 68", sturdy katana will cost a LOT. As in, you will probably change your mind about the matter once you get some definite quotes from actual smiths and makers. :(

Only because my lady downloads them, and my son watches bleach...

Which Bleach katana, there are many, and in which configuration, when the swords name is released or before? I should be embarassed to know so much about it ;)

EDIT;
Tensa Zangetsu, I assume by the description. Gonna be hard to find a quality blade like that, katana's that size have a curved blade, not straight like that one.

The only non custom thing that I can think of that is close is this "Odachi" from Hanwei:

The MSRP is still about 1000 dollars... and about 67 inches long.

You're correct. Haha, I'm glad somebody else knew. My friend and I are pretty big fans of the show. I don't know about 2 or 3,000 dollar fans though :o

I guess one last question would be if anyone knew where to get an accurate quote?
