HELP Just bought Gold Membership! Profile status still stays registered user??

Hey guys,

I just bought a gold membership and the fee has been charged to my card. Do I need to manually update my status to gold somehow? It still shows me as a registered user... will this happen automatically?

Looking to sell some knives so I'd like to get this worked out.

you need to make the change in your user profile. look where it says "paid subscriptions"

For other newbies, I went to:
My Settings > My Account > Permission Groups > Click "Identify me as a member of this group" for Gold Member

Esav, how long does it take before I can change my status to "gold" having paid via Paypal?

I'm not Esav, but PayPal transactions do not use the automated system, they have to be entered manually. This generally takes 48 to 72 hours, depending on how busy Spark is at the time.
