So I took my Kershaw apart and cleaned it up and put it back together. I noticed that the blade was no longer centered so I loosened the pivot screw and 2 handle screws. When I went to tighten everything back up some how I stripped one of the "posts" in the handle out. I can't get the screw to tighten. My question is can I by that spacing post or whatever it's called that goes between the handles for tightening? Thanks

Contact Kershaw and ask for some spare screws. I'd probably leave out the part where you took it apart and stripped a screw. I think that'd fall under "improper maintenance", which isn't covered by warranty.

The posts are called standoffs. That's what you'll want to tell Kershaw you need if you contact them. I don't know if they'll have replacements available. If so, then you're good to go. If not, you'll have to measure the distance between the handle halves (cheap digital caliper from ebay is fine for this) and try someplace like knifekits.com to see if you can find one that'll fit.

Thanks for the info. But it's not the screws that I need. It's the standoff.

Alright thanks. I'll give them a call. If they don't have any I'll see what I can come up with.

They wont send them in the mail. They will want you to send in the entire knife (you cover shipping). At least that's how it was for the ZT 0801 (same parent company as ZT) I received with bent standoffs. They will send you screws and pocket clips though.

Yeah I called them today. They don't sell them individually. They want me to send in the knife like you said. But said it could take up to 6 weeks to process! I might try and find out what size they are and order some different ones from knifekits.com.

You've probably already checked this, but are you sure the post (standoff) isn't just spinning when you try and tighten the screw? It can if the screw on the opposite side isn't tight.

Yeah I checked it. Thanks for the reply tho! it would be easy to overlook

does anybody know the size of the pivot screws on the Kershaw cryo 2? not the torx bit size, or the length, I need the thread size and diameter. if anyone knows I'd be very very appreciative. been looking all night long and cant seem to find the size in any forum, or anywhere else online lol
