I have a decent collection of knives now, as well as a Spyderco Sharpmaker to keep them cutting. Now I'd like to know what the best products to care for them are. First off:

Knife oil: What is the best oil to buy for my knives to keep the pivots smooth and the rust from forming, and where is the best website to buy it from?

Wiping Cloth: What is the best cloth to wipe my knives with, and what website can I purchase some at?

Stropping: What is the best thing to stropp my knife on, and where can it be purchased?

Storage: What is a good storage container for my knives, and where can i get one.

This information would be very helpful to me, and anyone with suggestins has my gratitude. Thank you.

Breakfree CLP is what I use to clean and lube. But like any oil or lube it should be used very sparingly and wiped off completely. I buy it in gallon sizes and put it in pint spray bottles. It is my WD-40 only many times better for anything steel, IMHO. You can buy it at any decent gun shop or sporting goods store. The price is very reasonable.

You can put a little on a soft cloth for a wipe and they also have Breakfree CLP wipes for sale.

For strops I have posted a link but I made mine from a good piece of leather glued to a sturdy wooden paint stirrer. It is the perfect size. The rough side of the leather is on one side and the smooth on the other.

For storage I first lube the knives with CLP sparingly and wipe them off well. I let them sit and drip any excess out of the lock before storing.

Then I put the knives I'm not carrying back in their little plastic bags and in their original boxes. I put the boxes in plastic "freezer" (heavy duty) ziplock bags. For instance I have all of one brand in a good sized ziplock "freezer" bag.

I store the ziplock freezer bags in a locked 20mm cannon round nylon storage container that you can get at any gun show for under $10. This storage container is good sized, has carrying handles on it, and it is waterproof. I think you could drop it out of a helicopter and it would not be damaged. I drilled a couple of holes in it and attached a lock. This big container is keep in the basement where it is cool and dry.

I have kept knives stored for many years like this without any problems with corrosion.

Knife oil: Militec-1 http://www.militec-1.com/ Alternatively, camellia oil which was the traditional coating for Japanese sword, knife, and tool blades.

Wiping Cloth: Marine Tuf-Cloth http://www.sentrysolutions.com/MarineTufCloth.shtml

Stropping: leather Use an old belt you are ready to throw away or buy one for a couple bucks at a thrift store. You can lay it (or glue it) on a flat surface for use. Load it by rubbing the surface with Veritas Honing Compound from Lee Valley. One bar of this stuff should last you a long time with casual usage. http://www.leevalley.com/wood/page.aspx?c=2&p=32984&cat=1,43072

Storage: a safe I like DGG's approach of conditioning the blades then storing them in military ammo containers, since the ammo cans are typically waterproof & airtight. I prefer a safe because ammo cans are too portable in case of break-in burglars. A safe bolted down is inconvenient enough that hit-&-run burglars won't bother to mess with it. Maybe store your knives in an ammo can inside the safe.... gets you the best of both. :)

Regarding the safe comment. You can drill holes in the bottom of the ammo holders and put lead anchors into the concrete slab and bolt the whole thing down with lead anchors. It would a PITA to ever try to move it or break into it. Of course that's assuming I or the dragon lady are not around to try out our new buckshot 12 guage loads on your sorry hide, hee hee! And that's assuming the dog has still left you with any arms and legs.
