Do anyone know were you can find a list of brand name knives that tells were its made in. I'm trying to do alot of research about which knife companies are made in what country. If you can help, thanks appreciated.

Most American prodcos have knives made in several different countries, so you're going to have to do your list by brand and model. Don't know of anything already in existence that shows what you want. You're probably going to have to go brand by brand and look up each of their models' country of origin. Spyderco lists COO on their website, IIRC. It's also in their catalog. BM also lists COO. Their BM branded knives are US made but some of their other lines are imported.

Good luck.

Not always true. I've been to the Spyderco website many times without seeing COA on there.

Also, not all products under direct Benchmade are USA- made. They did have a Red line, which was budget, and included knives like the Benchmite, which was made in Taiwan.

Country of Origin is the last tab on the home page of Spyderco's web site. Looks like it lists all the countries that make their knives and which models come from those countries. I don't know that it's 100% accurate, but it's a starting place for Spydercos, at least.

That may be true for BM. I only spot checked their web site for COO so I could give the OP some direction. The BM branded ones I did check all list COO, but there may be some BMs that either don't list it, or that come from another country.

At this time all benchmade knives currently in production are USA made.

Maybe under their own brand, but they still have knives they make for H&K that are China-made, don't they?

Yes, that's correct. You can see the red "import" graphic on models manufactured elsewhere, like this one. Which is not to say that all of the H&K knives are made outside the US, but many are.

Yes, but even among those, not all of them are made overseas. I have a fixed blade HK knife that's USA made.

I didn't say all H&K were made overseas, just was pointing out that the statement that "ALL" knives Benchmade produces aren't US made(since they do produce the overseas H&K knives, they just don't sell them under the Benchmade name)
