Please help me!

My local pawn shop has Rapid River knife. I have never heard of this custom maker. It is the skinner pattern listed on Rapid River's website. Rapid River currently makes their knives out of A2, but the blade on the knife at the pawn shop says it is a 2007 model. The blade also has the previous owners name on it. The pawn shop wants $50 for it, though I might be able to get it for less.

If it's at a pawn shop, you can get it for less. Anyone that pays sticker price at a pawn shop is a sucker. That being said, I know nothing of the knife itself, but $50 is a trivial amount if it's a decent knife and you like it.

I don't think I have ever paid sticker price at this pawn shop. What made the problem is that there was no sticker! When I asked how much it was, the clerk said $50 and that the sticker had fallen off. I didn't ask if that was out the door because I was not going to buy it without research.

I have done some Binging and I found a listing for a 2007 skinner. It was listed as A2. Sounds like it would be a good buy. Now, to find the time to get to the shop...
