Spent half a day perusing the forum for a blank with no luck so I'm here now asking for help. A member here who is a friend of mine was making a couple blanks for me but his knife making got derailed and now I'm in need of a couple blanks (one for me and one for a dear friend who has been waiting for over 6 months for a custom knife).
I'm looking for a finished blank or blanks with an overall length of 5". I prefer CPM-20CV, M390, or Elmax (in that order). I would go with 154cm, S30V, or S35VN but prefer the others if possible. No carbon and no 440.
Here are some pics of the style I'm looking for. I prefer a finished blank, heat treated, sharpened, and ready to add scales.
I'll put the scales on myself as I have a very specific order for a dear friend of mine and she wants me to do the scales to her specs. Pm me if you can make one or two for me and the price and we can go from there. Satin finish is fine. No need for anything high polished. These will be working neckers for edc and camp use. I'd like them by end of September so I can have them finished by deer season.
Knife makers please help or if you know a maker that you can recommend, that will help as well.
