Hello,
I'm kinda new, yet have been around for a while on this site, im looking for a new knife and well figured this would be the best place to post, im after a knife that i can carry horizontal, on my back, across my belt, so far i have come up with a few, but none of them give a good pic as to what the sheath is, or it has nothing as to hook it to, just more or less a neck knife. yet that's what im looking into, but to carry on the belt. nothing over 6 1/2" long, doesn't need a heavy handle, would rather a open, skeletonized all metal frame. Ill give you a couple that i like so you kinda know where im going,
1, Izula, great layout, able to wrap the handle with para-cord, just out of my price range,
2, Schrade SCHF5S Part Serrated Drop Point Extreme Survival Knife, love it, heck got a bottle opener, 50/50 blade, and looks to be able to wrap the handle, but the sheath is way weird, and again don't think its set up for horizontal carry.
3, Buck Paklite, there's two, one all SS, and the other with a coating over it, really no extras, besides the coating, the blade is a little curved which will make it harder to sharpen, and again the sheath,,,
If anyone has any knowledge, of any knife that fits in, give me a shout back thanks JR,,,
