Help. Lost Sebenza 21 CF Inlay

So I ordered one from BHQ, asking a buddy to help ship it over here to NY. He did, but in the shipping I noticed something weird. He's in Maryland, and the package shipped to Dallas for sorting first. I didn't think much of it. Now it's 1 week past the delivery date, and having visited the PO 5 consecutive days in a row and they're telling me it's not there, I'm assuming it was mixed up in Dallas and shipped to someone. If that someone is on Bladeforums, please ship it back to me. Thanks.
 
I hope you get your knife but don't lose hope. I ordered a scale once from a dealer in Arizona and I live in San Diego. It went all the way to Florida and eventually to me a week later.
 
It could have just got misrouted. I'm sure it'll show up eventually. Also, was the package insured?
 
I hope you insured your knife, I always do with any knife I trade or buy on BF. Does your knife have USPS tracking ? If you do, you can check on the USPS site and save time,gas

and frustration. Why would your knife be shipped to someone else if the package has your name and addy on it. :confused:
 
Clockman, I totally agree. Especially for Sebenzas, $9 insurance is a lot better than a $350 loss
 
Yes it's insured. And UPDATE: The USPS decided to take my package to a PO in New Jersey, so of course they couldn't find my damn address now it's going back to my friend.
 
I feel for you. I just had an original Busse TG go missing for 3 weeks. It was shipped priority so it was supposed to be there in 2 days. The USPS is no fun to deal with when they screw up.
 
UPDATE: It's now gone back to my friend… they say they left a notice, which they didn't… probably have to go collect that insurance.

The sender has to collect on the insurance. Was the package possibly miss addressed?
