Help making a cordura sheath

I think I have a good idea for a survival type sheath but I don't know where to begin. Can anyone help with instructions, patterns, or good sources for materials to make my own?

I moved your first post to Shop Talk where the knifemakers hang out and I expect you'll be getting replies soon. In fact I'm surprised no one has responded yet....
