Help me - ARGH! NEED PICS please!

OK - I have been bitten by the Busse bug and I am trying to make my first decision and possible purchase. I am confused by ALL the different knives and the nomenclature, but I THINK I a getting it. Busse manufactures certain knives at certain times and when they are done, all you can find on-line is all that you can now buy - is that right?

Currently they are making and selling the Natural Outlaw (NO) and the Active Duty (AD) and I also like the Badger Attack (BA). Are those abbreviations right? I am curious to see if any one has some comparison pics for me of a few things:

(1) Size pic of any and all the "midsized" blades with handles (ie, no Battle Mistresses needed NOR Assault Shaker.)
(2) Size comparison next to a ruler OR a playing card, OR a $1 bill for perspective
(3) I am wanting to get a knife that will "go" with my ever increasing "toy list" and that list is being done in black and green. The GREEN is the green that you see on the Hard Anodized SF flashlights.

What would you say would match that "color scheme" the best?

So - help me decide on a "just in case blade" that will be "approved" for use, but will probably see very little. I think that I have my heart set on a Busse (GREAT reviews and nice line up and awesome warranty) so don't try (too hard) to talk me out of it. I am replacing a BM100 River Rescue  (no laughing please) as that knife. The BM line is nice, but it was too "normal" and I like to be different and to have NICE things - I think that Busse fits those needs.

Please ask questions so that I can make a decision. I would like to keep this endeavor around $200 - $250 (ouch) if I could, but we'll see.

Thanks for your help.

David

Sproles,
Welcome to the Busse forum. It appears that you've got the abbreviations and your info correct regarding the Busse website and orders. Not to make it anymore confusing for you, but are you strictly interested in seeing pics of the new line or are you also interested in seeing pics with the e line (ergo) and the SH line (straight handled)

Also remember that the BA is in it's 3 generation so you'll sometimes see it listed as
SH BA (straight handled Badger Attack)
BA-e (Badger Attack ergo handle)
BA3 or BAIII (Badger Attack gen. 3)

I hope this helps and is not too confusing. I'm sorry but I don't have any pics of the new line handy

:D:D

Older pics are ok, too. I am primarily looking for ones that will be ACCESSIBLE and not "collector" pieces. I DO like the newer handled BA - not really the straight handled ones. What exactly is the ergo line - not sure if I could define that one on my own or not - the others I have seen enough of to figure it out.

Thanks for the reply.

have you checked out www.badmojo.tv ?
Yes - I have, however, I have not seen that many of the green/black combos to get a good idea if that color combo would look good or not. I have not seen (to my knowledge) any of the jungle green blades - afraid that they might be a "cheesy" green.

I have looked there and hae yet to see the "green" blade. The jungle camo is not my thing. I DO like the different handle options - those are clearly shown on the site.
Thank you though!

Here's a link to Jerry's original offer for the .
CPJABA & JD

And a couple of pics that I found in a post from last fall.....
What color is that blade? IS that the "Jungle Green" or is that a different "military" color that he did for that series of knives? I am interested in the looks on-line, but you know how colors can vary.

Also - does anyone have any pics of the BLACK blade with GREEn micarta handles? Like to see that combo as well.

Thank you!
David

GREAT collection Idahoskunk! Very nice - could you please tell me which ones are the "green" and which ones are not - sometimes my eyes cannot tell the difference on some of the colors. (I am not completely a dufus - just computer screens are not always the most accurate!)
