Help me build a custom classic folder

I'm looking for a new custom knife for my nephew as a graduation present.
I'm thinking of a tried and true classic design like a slippie single blade, about 3 to 3,5 inch blade (big kid 6'2") with a bone handle and classic file work. The knife should be classic like a 55-57 Chevy or T-Bird. It should have a classy & quality look so when people see it they know the quality right off. However, it should not to pretty he would not carry or use it. I also want it to be made by one of the better quality custom makers.
I'm thinking of a single blade with some file work to help hold the cost down.

I welcome your suggestions of style, and makers. Photos are a plus. Photos of smaller classic knives are welcome also, I can always have the right one enlarge a little.

Try out Jeff Cover, he does a good job and will build to specs.

Is graduation this June?
If so, finding a maker that can get it to you that fast could be more crucial than the design at this point.

Thanks for the reply. Graduation is late May 08.
Who are some of the classic folder makers I might have to find one already made. I was looking Ken's & Clover knives. I also was thinking of Tomes & Rupp too.

PJ Tomes made a Remington bullet for me and it is a beautiful knife. Better get moving like Kevin said because May isn't far away. Good luck and great present.:thumbup:
