Help me choose a handle for my custom skinner

So I had my heart set on a BRKT 2009 custom skinner with stacked leather handle. Turns out everyone is sold out except gpknives, and gpknives will not ship to new york

So I unfortunately have to pick another handle type, choices are:

Black Micarta
Green Canvas Micarta
Maroon linen Micarta
Black G10
African Ebony
Spalted maple (expensive, but I'm considering it)

Well, out of those choices, micarta and G-10 are the most trouble free.

If you like wood, I would choose African Ebony over the spalted maple - spalted looks nice, but it is rotted wood and though stabilized, has a 25% failure rate (according to Mike Stewart).
