All I need is
Scissors
Assortment of screwdrivers

Basically, the Leatherman Fuse fits the bill

What do you guys use the file and saw for? (not sure if I should get the Blast or not)

Also, can I use the locking pliers of the Crunch like regular pliers? (might get that over the other two, if the saw isn't that useful for me)

Thanks! If there is a SAK that has the above (pliers, not 100% necessary), please let me know!

There are several models of CyberTool Victorinox SAKs that would fill the bill. Also, for that matter, several traditional Vic SAKs. One in particular would be the Explorer - one of the best models currently in production.

If the Leatherman Fuse fits the bill, go for it you won't need anything else, dont go for the blast is too bulky.
I bought mine at Wally Word for $30.

The Leatherman Micra will give you your scissors, knife blade, screw drivers, nail toold, tweezers, and can/ bottle opener for $15 or less.

Cybertool 34 has the bit wrench for extra screwdrivers, plus it has scissors and pliers.

Other SAK's that may fit the bill are the Craftsman, Ranger, Deluxe Tinker and Cybertool Lite. All excepte the Ranger have pliers.

Got a LM wave myself. Not the cheapest or lightest but goes whit me everywhere. From city till the bush, it has every tool you need on it.

leatherman juice s2 is my favorite urban multitool.

My ED, EDC. I made a small leather pouch/holster that carries it, a X1 Inova, a Fisher space pen, and, along the bottom, a BSA hotspark. This little combo lives in my L R pocket.

If im not Urban, or I'm just not worried about what hangs on my belt, my (original) Wave and Mini Mag with the niteize are on my belt too. (most of the time, really)

SAK pliers may be lacking if you really need to do some relatively heavy work. Leatherman-type multitool is much better if you need a decent pair of pliers. I find the Cybertool 34 the best when it comes to pocketability, screwdrivers, and scissors.

My favorite edc these days is a Vic Spirit. The size is compact, but the tool is robust and has a sensible assortment of implements. The funky knife blade is a bit off-putting, but has never been a problem in use. I did grind off the serrations and sharpen both sides though.
