Help me choose another Sebenza

I am thinking of getting another Sebenza but a large. Originally I wanted a Large Micarta since I just received a small micarta as a gift and love it. I have 2 larges now one being a Calvary design and the other in Snakewood. I am scared to carry these unless they are in their pouches and I do not always like to carry the pouches.
I was thinking of getting a plain Benz and having it sculpted but that is pretty expensive. By the time I do all of that and buy a plain Benz I could have bought a large micarta with Damascus blade.
I am trying to decide wether to get a plain with damascus blade or a micarta with damascus blade. Maybe no damascus at all. In that case should I try out the double thumb lugs or no. Should I get a polished blade or no?
The one thing Iv'e noticed about polished blades is while they look nice they attract every finger print known to man. On the other hand the tumbled is well... tumbled. I know this is a personal preference and I can mark that choice.
so what say y'all? Given the selection and options I have given what would you prefer for yourselves or silly recommend?

If you are actually going to use the knife, then I would probably not go with the polished blade. In my mind, it kind of ruins the look after it gets scratched. The stonewash/tumbled finish holds up a lot better and hides the use.

The same thought would be for the Damascus blade. They demand more care to keep them looking good. If you are going to use it, it is probably not the best choice.

Both the polished and Damascus blades are very striking in appearance, though!

I like the double thumb lugs, bit many folks claim that they catch on your pants pocket easier. I do not use the clips, so I have not experienced this issue with the double lugs option. If you are able to use both hands to open, then it is a good option. It also makes the look more symmetrical.

I would say considering the Sebs you already own that a plain with Damascus or an Insingo would be a great addition to your collection.

The Damascus just looks great and the stainless Damascus they use now requires minimal care, but the Insingo would be a great user and wouldn't give you any fears of using or carrying like you have with the Cavalry and Snakewood. The blade profile is also different and interesting on the Insingo from your current Sebs.

So the question begs which are you looking for in the new Sebenza?

I'm still a little uncertain of the Insingo. i saw a Micarta with Damascus and it was stunning. the only thing holding me back is the durability of the Damascus and the knife that's available is Spirograph. I am not sure how I like Spirograph yet.

That's gorgeous. Well it's too bad that I just read the fine print that said the two large Sebenza's were out of stock. Figures.

I am a big fan of wood inlays but whatever floats your boat. Why would you be scared of carrying it? It is after all a knife and knifes were meant to be used. I've always had the philosophy that if I am going to spend money on something then I am going to use it, whatever it be. I feel it makes you appreciate the craftsmanship that much more when something gets used. But to each their own:)

I have the same philosophy but at the same time I have lost a really nice knife, which was clipped to my pants and I don't think I have ever recovered mentally from that tragedy.
