Help me choose my first GEC!

Hello! I recently decided i would see what the fuss was about, and go ahead and get myself a GEC!
Since i live in Denmark i have to mainly consider the smaller patterns, (max blade length of 2.75" and non locking).
I personally prefer single blade knives, and at the moment i am partial between a #15 of some sort, or a #92 talon with the warncliffe blade.... Did i miss any patterns that would fit the bill?

Best regards

As far as finding a single blade, GEC is about to do a run of new 15s w/ a sheepsfoot single from my understanding. Not sure on the release, but I would go with one of those. You can reserve one through collectorknives.net by going to the "our schedule" tab.

That would be a great first GEC to grab.

pedervisti, either of the two patterns you mentioned would be a good choice to help you get properly acquainted with GEC. The #15 is my favorite GEC so obviously I'd suggest you start with one of those. It's nearly certain that anyone who appreciates quality pocket knives will enjoy the ownership of any of the #15's from GEC. If you do start with one of the #15's ... plan on adding other GEC models in the very near future. People who like pocket knives usually find that one GEC just isn't enough.

Respectfully submitted,

Always nice to see a new enthusiast!

Could you clarify the blade length, is it total length or cutting length? For another European like me, it might also help to state the cm length..

I can certainly recommend the 25 single blade, 33 Conductor is 2 blades but a slim single-spring knife. The 85 is well worth considering too. If you want advice about suppliers then do e-mail me.

Thanks, Will

The OP is from Denmark. CollectorKnives does not ship Internationally.

Hi Will (email sent!)
The blade length limit is maximum 7 cm of total blade length.
Indeed if it had to be a 2 bladed knife, i would definately look at a single spring knife!
Thanks to everyone for the suggestions so far , i think i am leaning towards the #15 at this point, so it is just a matter of finding somewhere to purchase!
Best regards
