Greetings y'all. Please excuse me, as I am on a wonderful caffiene jag right now.... what better to do than post a new thread!
Here's my dilemma.... I have the itch to buy buy buy something sharp. I currently have two on order, but cannot stand the wait. So, while I am waiting... I am of course plotting my next move.
Here's a short list of what I would like to purchase in the nebulous near future. I do not know what I would even use some of them for, other than ogling at.
1. CUDA mad maxx
2. Bob Dozier Arkansas Toothpick
3. CUDA mini-Talon
4. Camillus EDC in Talonite
5. ATC Next Generation Ranger and/or Next-Gen Vietnam Hawk

I have to either thank or curse Buzzbait for giving me the Talonite bug!;) I think Will Fennell should hire BB
I could see the mini-talon and EDC as being knives that I would actually use on a regular basis, but the other choices I think are way too cool... just can't see using them on a regular basis. Doesn't mean that I wouldn't get them.
I dunno, maybe y'all can chime in with some advice, opinions, insults etc. Gotta go, made a kick-butt pot of coffee. :D

Many thanks, Mongo. :D You certainly have an exceptional list of knives to choose from.

Between the mini-Talon and Talonite EDC..... I'd do the EDC. The Mini is actually a little on the small side to be versatile. The Mini is lots of fun to play with, but the EDC has a much more useful blade size and grind. You really can’t go wrong with Talonite, IMHO.

Now if it’s bragging rights you’re after…….. MAXX!!!! The MAXX looks like it could instantly elevate any knifenut to “King of the Hill” status. It also looks like huge amounts of fun to play with. Maybe not for playing in public, but huge amounts of fun in the back yard, providing your fence is tall enough to keep sheeple from peeking through. ;) I’d say that that MAXX is tops on my list of knives to buy. I want one badly!!!

Heck. Any Dozier is awesome in my book. Bob is an absolute magician. I’ve handled a couple of different models now, and they feel great in the hand. His D2 is wicked also. The hard part is not using a Dozier. If you don’t actually plan to use it, it would be a crime to purchase one. His knives cry to be used.

The Hawk. Hehehehe. That backyard stuff I said about the MAXX…. That goes triple for something like a Hawk!!! I’ve also thought about getting one. They just look too cool not to have. I may never actually use a Hawk, but I’d swing it around a lot. :D

These are all excellent choices, and Buzzbait about sums it up, but get the Dozier.
