Help me choose

[TLR]

I put this in the Spydie forum but I need to make a choice.

Spydie Kopa w/cocobola
Spydie Kopa w/black micarta

Dress/semidress knife will wear with everything from jeans to khakis to a suit.

Or do I wait 2 weeks and get an auto at the local gun/knife show?
Please help me I have money and don't know what knife to spnd it on!

Black goes with anything, wood doesn't. That's what my girlfriend says, anyways. The Kopa is a great knife. I had a cocobolo - if I'd waited for the black Micarta I'd probably wouldn't have sold it.

Another vote for black micarta. I like traditional materials, like cocobolo & other woods, bone, etc., but for that particular knife I think the micarta would be better. It just seems to fit with the design of the knife. That, and in my experience it's more durable/scratches less easily/etc.

GO to the knife show. At least if you end up not spending any money, you'll have viewed all of your options, and you'll be able to play with all those knives.

I would wait two weeks and go to the knife show. If you don't, get the black, as with many people on the site I ussualy prefer wood but the black just suites it better.
