I cant decide on which knife to purchase. Its between a ti military, g10 military or a pm2. The g10 is black on both and I think I saw a brown g10pm2. Which one and whyyyyyy? Iv been into larger knives but have the itch for a nice slicer.

These are at a local shop and I thin the ti mili was $249.

You can find ti milis for around $200 online!
Unless you meant the fluted. That'd be great at $250

No its just regular ti. So its not rare or anything huh? Well, more thinking to do then. I can probably get the price down a bit more. Id rather inspect it and buy in person and pay a bit more. Im weird like that.

Completely understandable :)
There's also a Gray G10-Cruwear Military sprint coming out around May according to BladeHQ

I looked at a military and a pm2. Both black g10/satin and then I looked at the ti milli. Knowing what they can be had for, I liked it so much I still pulled the trigger at $245:eek: Completly happy with my choice I asked if they could do anything about the price. Im in there every other week buying knives and iv been eyeing this one for months. They know that I know that its been sitting there for a looong time. Plus it was the display, even though im sure im the only person who has ever touched it, they hooked me up at $189! The thing is BRAND NEW, theyre isnt a scratch on it anywhere, yet. Its a big boy but it carries better than some smaller knives I have. Just gotta get used to a polished clip and tip down carry now lol. I sure am a sucker for large slabs of titanium.

Wow. Great knife! I have had the Ti version but prefer the G10 version. However, the Military knife is the best production knife ever made; it beats the Sebenza in my opinion. I never owned a 'Zaan to compare it to, but I bet it would beat that as well. Fantastic knife! Great score! I will never give up my Military

I dont know, I love my umnumzaan lol. Its a very different knife though. This thing makes my 561 feel like a normal sized knife when I though it was a bit too big before today lol. Im sure a g10 military is in the near future. The one I held was a lefty so theres no way I was taking it home. I love the way ti ages and shows wear too. I do wish there was a ti military though, that might be a perfect knife.

I'll take the TI all day long....it's a beast & will take on anything you throw at it. The pm2 is a smaller version....so it really depends on your preference. But if you can find a pm2 at regular pricing then I'll do both

Congrats! Great deal! I once had the chance to get it online for $188.95 so I bought two. One looks beautiful two of them even more.

Iv had a pm2 before and ill have one again, just waiting for the right one to some along at the right price. Guess it'll be a while huh?

Heres a little knives and coffee for instagram this morning.

That's a beautiful knife, simplespeed! Although I prefer the G10 because I like a lot of "grippiness," the ti version definitely looks nicer.

Thanks! When I want alot of grip I grab an emerson! For me this military is a nice medium between tactical and clean/elegant looking.

G10 or half G10, half Ti for this boy.
My Leu folder will be my only folder with Ti handles.
Good luck!

Can you swap scales onto a ti military like that? What about blades? Can they be swapped and work with the liner lock? Oh man I might have found a new addiction.

Yes, they're interchangeable.
My perfect Military would be M390, CF and Ti, tapped for tip up.

Congrats on your knife. How are you liking the overall size?

Congrats! $189 is a steal. I had all 3(TI Millie, g10 millie and pm2) and I prefer the basic G-10 Millie over all of them. The TI Millie is nice but there's something weird about the clip position and lock bar. If I put any kind of pressure on the clip while trying to move the lock over, it doesn't move. So I had to hold the knife in a funky way every time I closed it. Probably more of a personal issue than anything, but that's my experience. Enjoy your Military!

Well, to be honest I was unsure about the size at first. Now it just feels like another knife in the pocket. Its not heavy or too thich compared to a couple other knives a carry. I was also thinking m390 with cf scale and ti locking scale as a perfect military. I dont like the tip up carry but I do love the crazy looking clip. It just looks awesome sticking out the top of my pocket. Plus the more sticking out the top of the pocket means less knife in the bottom of the pocket.

I dont always carty tip down, but when I do, its a spyderco military.

Do you own any other frame locks? That seems to be a probkem for some people on most frame locks.

Anyone know if the pocket clip is stainless or ti?

Yup, all of them are tip up so that may be the issue. I believe it's stainless.
