Help me decide on a user AMS

Just ordered a hand shaped blue + black G10 w/ satin blade. Now I want one that is on the "cheaper" end that I will use and abuse. And not cry (as much) if I lose it. Freaking knives are like pringles. You can't just stop at one. Help me decide as I'm waffling and trying to limit my spending.

Anyway I've narrowed it down to three possibilities but I'm having trouble deciding:
  • Double cut w/ black canvas
  • Brown canvas black blade
  • Orange on black

Which one do you like. Thanks!

I would get the one with Brown canvas and black blade :thumbup:
 
The AMS is a great knife, good luck deciding what you want. Of your choices, I personally think that that black blade with brown/tan canvas would be a great user.
 
Brown always looks good on users.
Ice choice on your first order. We will have the same thing i ordered mine last week same choice.
 
I got the double cut blade and it looks amazing, I highly recommend it. I'd say any scales you choose would look great with the DC blade (I have the Red / Black G10's).
 
Current tally
  • Brown + black = 2 votes
  • Brown + anything = 1 vote
  • Brown + Tanker Gray or Sage = 1 vote
  • Double Cut + ? = 1 vote
 
My .02 cents is the Tanker or sage with brown. I just like those finishes, they tend to be a little smoother.
 
My tan/white ams is my daily (work) user, my satin handshaped black /yellow g10 will be my Sunday go to meetin' user.
 
Black and Tan is what I have started to like.
 
the only one I am getting is the pink bone handle, it will of course be my dress up carry. I would suggest, if you are concerned about losing it, go for the orange as that stuff is pretty darned bright!! :) just my 2 cents.
 
I have a black on black canvas and a jungle green and black canvas. The jungle green is pretty smooth compared to my black blade. I have a lot of knives with Black and Tan. It's a nice combo
 
Double cut and orange! I worry about coating if I cut food. I am unfamiliar with Busse coating but from past use of other lesser knives it hasn't been great. The texture may trap nasties to.
 
Of the ones you mentioned I like the DC the best.

My favorite coating is Jungle Green with black, or tan scales.
