Short and sweet:
Caly 3 or Native 3?
Both come in Carbon Fiber

Opinions?

Thanks all you Spydermen!

I think you mean Native 4. But I would go with the Capt 3 with ZDP myself. It is an awesome knife.

I would probably go with the Native myself, but the Caly 3 is a very nice knife as well. You really couldn't go wrong either way, unless you have Country of Origin preference.

Maybe there will be a Native V sprint in CF. One could hope:D
S35vn and CF would be nice

I would go with CF Native4. I hate laminated blade on Caly3, also Native4 is discontinued and fairly hard to find. CF Caly3 still in production and available.

You must be thinking of the standard Native. The Carbon Fiber Native was also Japan, just like the Caly 3.

Both are excellent knives. I think the Caly 3 is more of a value with ZDP-189 and the ergos are outstanding. One last point, the CF Native has been discontinued, so it should be easier to pick up a Caly 3.

I'd go with the Caly 3 100%--better price, better steel (much more high end), better ergonomics, IMO more functional and prettier. I personally like the lamination lines. I think the Caly 3 is a knife everyone who likes spyderco should own

I love my caly3 in zdp and cf. They both have the same locks, so you can't really seperate by locks. The caly3 is easy to choke up on, feels comfortable in use, and has some awesome steel. I'd go for the caly3.

I have a g-10 caly3 fully serrated, I want the carbon fiber zdp. Having said that I've been waiting to find a nice deal on a native 4 and have yet to find one. The clay 3 will run 40-50 bucks cheaper from what I've seen.
