I need help choosing between a couple of knives. I have a 285 dollar (yes that specific) knife budget. The knives on my list are The:

Benchmade 940 - $134
Benchmade mini-grip -$60
Benchmade Onslaught - $125
Spyderco PM2 - $100
Spyderco Cricket - $60
Esee Izula - $50
Spyderco Chockwe - $160
Becker BK2 - $60

As long as I stay in and around the budget that's what matters. THANKS!

For that list I'll take:
Mini grip
Para2
Izula

I have the para2 and would like to handle the others specially the izula.

Get the Chokwe and the Para 2.
Two of my top 3 blades right there and you can get them both while still being under $285.

The only knife that beats my Chokwe is my Sebenza. That's saying something.

Thanks! I like the chockwe but I really want to try out the axis lock, I've heard they're really fun to use and really sturdy. But thanks for your opinions!

They are fun but I prefer a good Frame Lock. The funnest knife with a Axis type lock I've owned is my little SOG Sculptura.

These:

Benchmade 940 - $134
Spyderco PM2 - $100
Esee Izula - $50

The 940 and PM2 are great EDC folders, the Izula is a different kind of knife possibly suitable for your EDC.

No matter what you pick, I would get a Para 2 with it.
The Chokwe though is my second favorite knife.

Top 3 favorites:
CRK Large Sebenza 21
Spyderco Chokwe
Spyderco Para 2
