I want to get my first neck knife as a birthday present to myself.

I'm looking at getting a brous silent soldier but I'm trying to decide between the wharncliffe vs the drop point version.

So any input from SS owners please, not just pertaining to the style of blade but your overall opinions of the knife as well.

Also, is it easy to sharpen on a sharpmaker?
 
If it were me I'd go with the wharncliff. I think its just a more useful design for everyday use.
