If you could choose one and only one of the following which would you choose and why?

1) Native 5 G10 S35VN
2) Delica 4 HAP40
3) Delica Titanium Damascus

added one more to the list...

4) PM2 S110V

I would choose #1 and here's why:

Absolutely terrific ergos. I love the choil and overall shape/curve of the knife. It's a joy to hold a use.

Incredibly solid lockup. For a back lock this thing is incredibly solid, zero play, yet the blade still drops closed when disengaged.

The steel is, in my experience, easier to maintain than s30v and takes a screamingly sharp edge on my strop.

A very carry friendly size while still being totally usable.

Great blade shape for edc tasks.

I think those are all the reasons I can think of! I love mine to death, definitely top two spydies.

Depends which feels better in hand. I don't find Delica to my liking but I like Endura handle. Native 5 is so nice & smooth for a lockback & the ergos is the best. Haven't tried PM though, but it might be similar to Tenacious so it's another superb choice.

Suggest to try handling them first.

Well, it looks like the PM2 I was thinking of is on back order right now anyway. I'm going to see if I can handle a Native 5 and see how it feels tomorrow. I do have concerns about the ergos of the Delica. I can pick up the Native 5 for about $100.

It will be interesting to see what you think. It really does depend on the size and shape of your hand and if you prefer a choil. I have larger hands and For me the Delica was just a little too slim and I ran out of handle. The Native 5 because of the thickness of the handle and the choil for me was a better choice. I also like how the choil kind works as a guard when the blade lock is released and, on the two I have owned, the lock up and the lateral righty was rock solid, giving the knife a very confident feel.

Tough call between the PM2 and Delica, but I guess I'd have to pick the Para 2. The reason being, the compression lock is very quick and easy to use one handed.

I have all of those except the Damascus Delica but I would go PM2 (even just the S30V models) all day long.

Seems like there's not a lot of love for the Titanium Delica. I've already had a couple of PM2s so I'm leaning more towards the Native. Most of my knives are one hand open and close. I don't have a single lock-back in my collection at the moment; perhaps another reason to try one?

I would go with the HAP40 Delica. All the others are production models (as far as I know) so I would grab the sprint run while it's still readily available.

Although, what I really think you should do is buy all 4!

If you want something to drop in your pocket that will be with you day in and day out, get the Delica. It has endured for a reason. I have two and love them. I do not normal do two of anything. The PM2 would be a great choice but it is on the larger side for an EDC role. But, if you are comfortable with this, the PM2 is a top choice. The Native I cannot speak of since I have never owned one. Some say that the handle is too short for their hands unless they use the choil. It is a solid, good looking design, though. If your store carries them, go handle them for a while.

I can agree with all of this statement. I just bought the HAP 40 Delica and I think it is exceptional in all respects. I prefer the Endura to the PM2 for a larger EDC. I find the Delicas a bit too delicate for my work EDC but otherwise these are great all purpose carry knives. The HAP 40 sprint run is especially nice - color, sharpness, fit and finish and can be had for less than $90.00 delivered (mine was less than $ 83.00).

#3. I like the Delica and I really like Titanium. I've been eyeing that model for awhile. Sooner or later I'll get one. Hopefully they don't get discontinued anytime soon.
