I want to but myself a nice EDC. I want a nice bladesteel , nothing less than AUS8, im gonna be playing with it alot so its a plus if it has a fun mechanism. I looked at just about every knife in my price range, but everything that has good blade steel, has FRN handles and i really hate FRN or zytel. The only knife that meets my needs is the Kershaw ET, so please throw some suggestions my way.

Posting your price range and preferred blade length would be a really great place to start.

Price range is about $70 and the blade lenght anywhere from 3" to about 3.7"
i forgot to add that tip up carry would be preffered.

Maybe a Spyderco SS Endura 4, or the R2?

Or perhaps a Spyderco Drop-point D'Allara?

Then again, maybe a CRKT Carson M-21?

I suggest the Cold Steel Recon 1. AUS8 steel, G10 handles, 4" blade (legal most places), available in clip point, spear point, or tanto point, plain edge or 1/2 serrated. The Ultralock also locks up like a tank.

Kershaw S30V/G10 Leek, here on forum $70 or at savsons swords & knives

thanks for the suggestions guys, i went and ordered a kershaw blur PE. Im gonna have to bear that the blade steel is 440A, but i can always sharpen it.
