help me decide

Hi, I'm trying to decide on which style to choose for camp knife that I will use often:

1) 9" blade range with double guard - not full tang
2) 9" full tang - no guard but with scales

3) cant decide between black micarta handle or wood handle like walnut or maple. Of course I like the look of them all.

Appreciate any insight

9" sounds rather large for a camp knife. 4"-6" seems to suit most people just fine.

the only partial tang blade i would consider owning would be a Mora, and that's only because they're so cheap for such high quality.

so, with that in mind, get the full tang.

as for handles, well, that's a purely personal choice. wood may need occasional maintenance.

im set on the length. sorry i meant full tang or a hidden tang with a seperate milled guard with milled handle to fit around the tang. thanks
