Help me decide

So for my next purchase, I'm looking hard at the Spyderco Perrin PPT despite all the gripes about it - I'm right-handed, and the spine sticking out at the tang when closed doesn't bother me too much since a few of my Benchmade knives do that as well.

I've also been eyeballing a Strider PT as well, but can't seem to find one used, so I'm thinking of forking out the cash for a new one. Its obviously a much larger purchase, so I'd have to do some financial finagling (i.e. sell a bow, and/or some flashlights locally), but I've really wanted one for a while, even with the politics behind Mick Strider (which was honestly why I wanted to buy a used one).

I've given up on a reasonable priced Hinderer XM-18 3" and for some reason, the ZT0551 doesn't have the same appeal to me as the XM-18, so I think either the PPT or PT is going to be the next one for me.

I'm sort of looking at the SNG as well, but I'm starting to think that I'd be afraid that I won't be happy with it's larger size since I'm not looking for a big knife as much as I am another EDC 3" knife.

I know about the fit/finish issues on the SNG and I've heard about a few things on the PT, but not as many complaints, so I'm willing to take the plunge for the money.

My biggest concern with the PT is the G10 only liner on the non-locking side - it makes me worry about durability, but I've seen folks use them hard and have no issues, so I'm not as concerned.

Any input is appreciated.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone have a Strider PT, SNG, and Spyderco Sage together in a pic that they can post? I keep looking at the SNG as slightly larger than I like, and the PT as slightly smaller than I like, but I really want to handle one in person (and sadly, there are no places around that have them in-store).

OK... so no one cares about Striders or PPTs? Cool enough :)

I blame you all for the fact that I ordered both. SNG CC came in today - so far, so good.

Here's it vs a few of my other EDC knives (and the larger Tyrade just for size comparison). I was honestly shocked at how small/lightweight the SNG was.

None of the usual issues I read about other than the tip of the blade sticking just a hair into the Lanyard hole (not nearly as bad as I've seen from some of the knives online). I guess I read wrong that this was a stop-pin, when in fact, its the back-spacer and its seating against the front of the choil. Doesn't really bother me as I don't use Lanyards on pocket knives. Lockup is good, no blade-play, blade is centered between the scales when closed. There were a few marks on the blade when I got it (from knife art) which would have bothered me, but I plan on using this one. I found it odd that it came in a zip-lock bag with Knife Art's logo on it and that's it (no logo'd box/paperwork).

This thing isn't nearly as thick as I thought it would be based on what I've read - it really feels smaller than everything I read. I have to say that I really like it so far. The choil is perfect, the blade-size compared to useable edge is very nice too - and I like long handles with shorter blades for EDC/pocket-knives.
