I am looking for a folding knife with a similar serration pattern as that found on the Victorinox One handed Trekker like this http://www.amazon.com/Victorinox-One-Hand-Trekker-Lockblade-Pocket/dp/B000687B44

The Vic Trekker is outstanding but its main drawback is that it doesnt have a pocket clip and it doesnt open quickly (even with the blade hole).

So I am looking for a folder with a nicely serrated blade, thin with razor sharp quality, that opens quickly without any assited device (l live in NJ). Spyderco has alot of blades like this, but the serrations arent quite as nice as the Victorinox serrations (different style) and the blade shapes are too broad. The serrations on the Vic Trekker allow razor sharp cuts on paper as well as rope and webbing.

Given the situation in NY with knives it sounds like you've found your knife. Maybe a blade that's a little hard to open and can't flick in any way is a good thing.

If SAK's are considered 'dangerous' over there you guys really have a problem!

One might ask the people mucking with the knife laws if they've ever handled and used a really good knife for tasks they'd only buy a cheap one for...:(

I have an older red SAK picnicker that I've owned and used for years, and carry it in a black leather pouch. It sees more use than some of my Benchmades!
