Would really like one of these 706's from Benchmade, however they seem extremely hard to find.

I work at a bank, and I need something as sheeple friendly as possible (Read: Brightly colored, shiny). Also LOVE very thin knives, and would prefer my work EDC to not have a clip (it will get carried in the little coin pocket of dress pants).

Linerlock/axis is fine, just something THIN and sheeple friendly. Would like to stay under $100.

Thanks guys.

My stock answer to this question, but it sounds like it would fit your needs, expecially fitting in your watch pocket.

Spyderco Kiwi. I have the one with amber bone handles, and it's very elegant, besides being a serious cutter.

How about a stainless Delica 4? If you don't mind FRN (though I know you mentioned "shiny", which I assume means metallic scales), you might also like the Jess Horn ZDP-189. They're getting a bit tougher to find since they were a sprint run, but it's a really excellent knife with a great blade steel, and the burgundy scales are attractive and quite "non-threating" in appearance.

I'm kind of fond of the Kershaw Chive for a small pocket knife, if an assisted-opener will do you.

I've got a Chive, looking for something with a bit better blade steel and not an AO.

I currently EDC a FRN Delica 4, with my limited knife collecting funds I can't afford more than one design of each knife. I would like something new to play with, I'm sure you know the feeling.

The Jess Horn seems a bit too thick for this application.

I'm drawn towards the BM440, seems to fit my needs and is still easily available for under $100.

Or maybe a 771? Seems a bit thicker than the 440 though, and the 440 has S30V steel. 771 has my less prefered (but still perfectly fine) 154CM.

Klotzli if you can find one in that price range. You can't get them new for that, but you might on the forums or ebay.

Kind of a high price for 440C, though. :( Good looking knives none-the-less.

I would really like to find a 706 that I originally posted, but I think I may have to settle with the 440, it should do just fine.

The 706 retailed for $450, so even if you did locate one, it would be quite a bit more expensive than the knives listed here.

Yeah, I understand that. Too bad they didn't make a lower grade one w/ metallic handles.

That's just the basic style I'm looking for- Pancake handles, thin, simple styling.

I think the 440 will do.

I would prefer a lock. I want something that has a smooth action for one hand opening, frame/liner/axis locks would all be fine.

Good pics, that really puts it into perspective.

I think I'll be going with the 440 for sure.

The Kershaw Splinter w/quincewood scales is nice looking enough to be considered a "gentleman's" knife. Has an AUS-8 blade which I love as a light to medium duty steel-the stuff takes a wicked edge and is very easy to sharpen.
