Help me find a knife for a friend

Hie veryone, my buddy is looking for a knife, he wants something with a fairly good sized blade, maybe around 4". a stainless handle, but is not 100% against non stainless handle materioals.

he really liked the spyderco police, but now it doesnt fit his hand so good.

Man your gonna get a boatload of suggestions without price range and handle,blade materials ect..this was my suggestion without these.

If he'd be ok with 3.5", there's a ton of ss framelocks. Maybe an SS ATR for a diff handle. How does he feel about aluminum handles? CRKT has several models in Al, plus some KErshaw Speedsafes.

err, yeah,to add to HardHeart's post, a CRKT M16 or M21 in the 4" range is really affordable.
