Since joining this forum a few months ago I have given quite a bit of thought into knives I had way back when. With the help of members we were able to figure out that my grandfather had given me a Colonial Coyote CY13 as my first pocket knife. Just need to find one for sale.
Onto my next knife to figure out here is where i need the help! After many hours searching the Internet with different descriptions the closest knife I can find is a Case 6265. Here is the catch one of the blades was serrated, but more of a rolling scallop style of serration. This was a large two bladed folder approximately 5" closed, bolsters on each end with the bolster opposite of the hinge was quite tapered. I do believe the blade was serrated from the factory, just doesn't seem like someone in my family would have done that and done it that well. This knife was not given to me knew, I got it in the mid '80s and it was quite used by then.
Very Very close comparisons:
With the second blade serrations being very similar to these(disregard stamp on blade)
Any help or leads would be greatly appreciated !
Sent via telegraph with the same fingers I use to sip whiskey.
