I don't often post these kinda threads, but i'm somewhat noob-ish when it comes to traditional slipjoints. The only slipjoints i own are a Buck 373 (China) and a few SAK's.

I'm looking for something with brass bolsters, roughly 3 to 4 inches closed, and no synthetic handles. I'd prefer the handles be of a dark wood.

I've looked at alot of Case knives on the internet and at a shop that sells alot of hunting supplies and such, but can only come up with knives that have nickle silver bolsters.

Any ideas?

Try Böker Copperheads. They might do. But brass...sounds like a Buck 11o is what you need.

Boker makes a small Stockman that meets that description.

BTW- there's nothing wrong with the 373's. I EDC a VERY early one, in paca wood with the 440C blades. The 440C was discontinued very early on- I'm glad I spent a couple extra bucks and bought mine at Sports Authority rather than Wal-Mart. By then the store that actually made sales all had the 420's.

I actually have a 110, and a 55. I'd prefer a few different blades though, like a stockman of sorts.

Edited to add: Thanks mp510, i'll check that out. Ya, the 373 i have is alright, i'm just a picky S.O.B so it doesn't see alot of pocket time.
