My KaBar Dozier Folding Hunter has been doing it for me for over a year, fast, slim, lightweight, stout enough. Then I stumble on the AG Russell FeatherLite at 1.5 ounces, geez, almost an ounce lighter than the Dozier and slimmer, for about the same 3" knife, wow. Anything else out there going to compete with this size/weight ratio. Prefer thumb hole over stud and I'd go nuts over a flat grind and/or better steel.

CRKT Eros, 1.3 ounces, 3" blade, titanium Framelock. IKBS flipper, so no thumbstuds. Very nicely machined handle. Acuto+ isn't a super steel, but its decent at the least. By far, the lightest, thinnest nice knife I have ever handled, especially for not having plastic handles.

Kershaw Skyline. Sandvik = top shelf steel at a working man's price.

Glowing Reviews speak volumes.

EZ now, the Military is over 1/4 pound and hardly disappears in my pocket, LOL
The Delica does have my attention, but still kinda heavy

Had no idea the BM 530 was so light, many configurations, hmm
I dig the size/weight on the Al Mar a lot, but I I'm such a thumb holer

How about a 3.1" wharncliff by custom maker H. Ohta? This is really light, very good steel, excellent grind, and beautiful.

Spyderco FFG FRN Delica maybe I dunno it's pretty light but I don't think I would put it in the ultra light category but still a great knife none the less.

Walmart for a Kershaw Skyline and online for a (overpriced but ultralight wicked slicer) the Spyderco Centofante 3. I didn't think much of the Skyline despite it's rave reviews but the overpriced by 2x's Spyderco Centofante 3 is extremely light - like a fountain pen in your shirt pocket and crazy crazy sharp.

Sog is coming out with a new line called the slim Jim a 3 inch and 4 inch model, both are lockbacks, and come in aus 8 the 4 inch weighs in around 2.7 oz check it out.
