I’ve been shopping around for the perfect knife since returning my Bark River Gunny.

I’m looking for a full-tang 4” bushcrafting knife in CPM 3V in a full convex grind with a similar geometry to the Fallkniven F1. Preferably heat treated to 60+ HRC for more corrosion resistance. I’d love to have dark blue micarta scales with red liners, mosaic or black pins, and a lanyard hole. I want a knife that’s aesthetically pleasing but can also take abuse. I’d also like a Kydex taco-style sheath for scout carry.

Looking to spend $300 or maybe $350 if the knife comes in perfect fit and finish, while meeting all of the requirements. I get that 3V is only semi-stainless, but it shouldn’t rust/pit under a drop of tap water.

Are my demands too absurd for this price range?

On a different note, what is your favorite stainless steel for bushcrafting? How is Fallkniven’s laminated CoS steel compared with the CPM 3V?

You could look at LionSteel, a lot of great fixed balde options. I have the M4 as my belt knife for the woods and love it. Kind of a modern rendering of the Kephart in my book. If you'd go M5 you'd get Sleipner steel (as 3V, a semi-stainless tool steel) instead of M390. Have fun with the search!
