Help me find what sabatier this is

I bought this a few years back and am finally getting around to doing something with it. The seller claimed it was a sabatier elephant. It looks to be the raw forging.

I've been unable to determine what the exact model and year. I'd like to know what type of steel it is for heat treat. I'm guessing it's and simple carbon steel.

The seller says it was from the Thiers factory. I think it might be the k series
